The message in the Lightning Thief can be found in many other stories as well. Describe a story this book reminds you of.

Answer: This book reminds us of Harry Potter and the Sorcers Stone because its about friendship and Greek Mythology. Harry Potter is about friendship Ron and Harry have to go on a quest together that requires them to make a decision in which one of them might lose their life. In Lightning Thief Percy, Annabeth, and Grover go on a quest as well. Annabeth and Grover are willing to risk their lives to save Percy in the Underworld.

The message in the Lightning Thief is similar to the message in Harry Potter because Percy is different than the others just like Harry and both of them have famous parents.

Good comparison to Harry Potter! Do you think Percy having his friends accompany him held him back or helped him?
